1977
March Established Ikko Shoji Co., Ltd. in Minami-ku (current Chuo-ku), Osaka and embarked on financial business involving commercial bill discount, loans on note, and so forth for SME and individual business owners.
1991
March Changed trade name to Ikko Co., Ltd.
1998
September Listed on the Second Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange.
2005
January By acquiring its 12,600 thousand common shares(through third party allotment and TOB), ZENKOKU HOSHO Co., Ltd. became the Company's parent company.
2008
March Nobuyoshi Fujisawa became the largest shareholder of the Company as he obtained its 14,010 thousand common shares from ZENKOKU HOSHO Co., Ltd. (through TOB).
2009
March Acquired all shares of Station Finance Co., Ltd. (current Nihon Hoshou Co., Ltd.) from Hankyu Corporation, making it the Company’s consolidated subsidiary.
July Changed the Company's trade name to J Trust Co., Ltd. and relocated the main office to Kitahama, Chuo-ku, Osaka.
2010
March Acquired 50% shares of Saikyo Card Co., Ltd. from The Saikyo Bank, Ltd. (initially acquired 30% in May 2009; total came to 80%) and turned Saikyo Card into the Company's consolidated subsidiary.
May Through an absorption-type corporate split,J Trust's operations involving consumer finance and SME finance were transferred to J Trust Financial Service Co., Ltd. (current Nihon Hoshou Co.,Ltd.). The Company withdrew from moneylending business.
September Acquired the whole shares of Lopro Corporation (current Nihon Hoshou Co., Ltd.) and turned it into the Company's consolidated subsidiary.
October By absorption-type corporate split, the Company's credit guarantee operations were transferred to J Trust Financial Service Co., Ltd. (current Nihon Hoshou Co., Ltd.) Since then, the Company has been focusing on holding business.
December J Trust Financial Service Co., Ltd was absorbed into Lopro Corporation (current Nihon Hoshou Co., Ltd.).
2011
April Acquired all shares of Neoline Credit Co., Ltd. from Neoline Holdings Co., Ltd. making it the Company’s consolidated subsidiary. It enabled the Company to enter foreign market (South Korea).
June Relocated the main office location to Minato-ku, Tokyo.
August Acquired shares (97.76% in voting rights) of KC Card Co., Ltd. (current J TRUST Card Co., Ltd.) from Rakuten Co., Ltd. and turned KC Card into the Company's consolidated subsidiary.
2012
March Assigned consumer financing business of Takefuji Corporation, a company under the Corporate Rehabilitation Act, to Lopro Corporation(current Nihon Hoshou Co., Ltd.) through a corporate split.
April Made Next Japan Holdings Co., Ltd. wholly owned subsidiary of the Company through share exchange.
June Conducted a stock split where 1 common stock was divided into 2 shares.
June Converted ADORES, Inc. (current KeyHolder Co., Ltd.)from an affiliated company to the Company’s consolidated subsidiary.
July Absorbed Next Japan Holdings Co., Ltd. in a merger with the Company as surviving entity.
August Chinae Co., Ltd. (current JT Chinae Savings Bank)was established as a subsidiary of KC Card Co., Ltd.(current J TRUST Card Co., Ltd.)
September Lopro Corporation (surviving entity) absorbed Nihon Hoshou Co., Ltd. (extinct entity) and changed trade name to Nihon Hoshou Co., Ltd.
October Chinae Co., Ltd. obtained approval to commence savings bank business in South Korea, entered the business, and changed its trade name to Chinae Savings Bank Co., Ltd.(current JT Chinae Savings Bank Co., Ltd.)
2013
March Share exchange was conducted to turn ADORES, Inc.(current KeyHolder Co., Ltd.) into a wholly-owning parent company and Keynote Co., Ltd. and Break Co., Ltd. into wholly-owned subsidiaries.
June Relocated Osaka office from Chuo-ku to Miyakojima-ku.
July Listing market was changed to the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), the 2nd Section due to merger between the TSE and the OSE.
July Completed fund raising through rights offering.
October J TRUST ASIA PTE.LTD. was established in Singapore for the purpose of the Company's entry into financial, amusement and other businesses in Southeastern Asia Market.
December Completed full-repayment of borrowings to the Resolution and Collection Corporation (RCC) before the due date.
2014
January By selling all shares (ownership ratio:80%) of Saikyo Card Co., Ltd to the Saikyo Bank, the Company deconsolidated Saikyo Card Co., Ltd.
March By acquiring all equity interests of KJI Consumer Finance LLC and all shares of HICAPITAL Co., Ltd. in South Korea, the Company made those consumer finance companies its consolidated subsidiaries.
November Acquired 99.0% shares of PT Bank Mutiara Tbk. (currently PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk.) in Indonesia from Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation and made it a consolidated subsidiary.
2015
January KC Co., Ltd. (currently YJ Card Corporation), KC Card's subsidiary, assumed credit card business of KC Card Co., Ltd. and all shares of KC Co., Ltd. were sold to Yahoo Japan Corporation and SoftBank Payment Service Corp. The trade name of KC Card Co., Ltd. was changed to J TRUST Card Co., Ltd.
January Acquired all shares of Standard Chartered Savings Bank Korea Co., Ltd. from Standard Chartered Korea Limited in South Korea, made it a consolidated subsidiary and changed its trade name to JT Savings Bank Co., Ltd.
March Acquired all shares of Standard Chartered Capital (Korea) Co., Ltd. from Standard Chartered Korea Limited in South Korea, made it a consolidated subsidiary and changed its trade name to JT Capital Co., Ltd.
June Established PT JTRUST INVESTMENTS INDONESIA in Indonesia as a subsidiary of J TRUST ASIA PTE. LTD.
June Changed the trade name of PT Bank Mutiara Tbk. to PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk.
July Changed the trade name of Chinae Savings Bank Co., Ltd. to JT Chinae Savings Bank Co., Ltd.
September Transferred part of the unsecured loan (consumer financing) of Nihon Hoshou Co., Ltd. to CREDIA Co., Ltd. through a corporate split.

2016
July Established a joint venture, PT Gorup Lease Finance Indonesia (GLFI) by J TRUST ASIA PTE. LTD. (shareholding ratio: 20%) as a financing service company for providing installment loans in Indonesia.
August By own share repurchase trading (ToSTNeT-3), acquired 9,188,300 share (8.36%) of own share.
2017
January Osaka branch moved from Miyakojima-ku, Osaka to Yodogawa-ku, Osaka.
May Applied International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on a voluntary basis.
October General entertainment business; part of real estate business; and foreign currency exchange as other business of ADORES, Inc. (hereinafter, “ADORES”) are succeeded to ADORES Company Split Preparation, Inc. (hereinafter, “the Preparation Company”) via an absorption-type company split (corporate divesture), and ADORES changed its trade name to KeyHolder, Inc. and the Preparation Company altered its trade name to ADORES, Inc.
2018
March Transferred all shares in ADORES, Inc. to Wide Leisure and excluded ADORES from the scope of consolidation
May Acquired all shares of Capital Continents Investments (now J Trust Credit NBFI), which conducts automobile loans, from Japan Pocket Co. Ltd. and enters the Mongolian market.

March Takes over business of idol group SKE48 through business transfer
April KeyHolder Inc. acquires all shares of FOOLENLARGE Co. Ltd., turning it into a consolidated subsidiary.
April KeyHolder Inc. conducts a share exchange which makes ALLFUZ Co. Ltd. a full subsidiary with KeyHolder as its parent company.
August In Cambodia, J Trust acquired 55% of shares of ANZ Royal Bank (Cambodia) and, while making the bank into a consolidated subsidiary, changed its name to "JTrust Royal Bank Ltd."
